    The lovely Mr Nick Rombes contacted me a wee while ago about his fantastic idea to raise money for charity, specifically  Proliteracy Detroit  (shockingly, it is estimated that over 44% of Metro Detroit citizens are functionally illiterate.) Unfortunately, the organization does not have the monetary resources to accommodate this demand, and that’s where us designers and design lovers come in! Each month, a new installment of an ongoing novella Nightmare Trails will be made available to designers, graphic artists, and visual artists who request it via e-mail at postercontestdetroit@gmail.com to then create an accompanying poster.  All posters will then be auctioned at eBay, with ALL proceeds going directly to Proliteracy Detroit.
